Refund & Billing Policy
How aiMakeVideo subscriptions, credit packs, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and chargebacks work.
Last updated: 2026-09-17
This Refund & Billing Policy explains how aiMakeVideo charges for subscriptions and one-time credit packs, how credits expire, and when refunds are available. It is part of the Terms of Service.
Mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country (for example, some EU/UK cooling-off rights) can give you additional remedies we cannot waive.
Questions and refund requests: support@aimakevideo.com.
1. What you can buy
aiMakeVideo sells:
- Subscriptions — recurring plans (currently Basic, Standard, Pro, and Max) billed monthly or yearly. Each paid period grants that plan’s monthly credits (yearly plans still grant credits on the schedule implemented at checkout — typically each billing period).
- Credit packs — one-time top-ups that do not renew.
Prices are shown in USD on the pricing page unless a tax-inclusive amount is displayed at checkout. We may change list prices for future purchases or future renewal terms; we will not silently change the price of a period you already paid.
Checkout is handled by a payment processor such as Stripe. Your bank or wallet statement may show a Stripe (or similar) descriptor for aiMakeVideo.
2. Subscriptions: cycles, renewal, and cancellation
- Subscriptions are billed in advance for the interval you choose (month or year).
- They auto-renew until you cancel.
- Cancel anytime in Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You keep access and remaining subscription credits until that date.
- Canceling does not immediately stop the current period and does not, by itself, create a cash refund for unused days or unused credits.
- Yearly billing is a single charge for the year at the advertised yearly price. Canceling a yearly plan prevents the next year’s charge; it is not a month-by-month prorated refund.
- If a renewal payment fails, we or the processor may retry. If payment cannot be collected, the subscription may lapse and access to paid features may end.
After cancel, already-granted pack credits (including any subscriber bonus from an earlier pack purchase) remain until they expire under Section 3.
3. Credit packs: one-time purchase and 180-day validity
- Packs are a single charge. They never auto-renew.
- Credits from a pack expire 180 days after they are added to your account (6 × 30 days in product code). The pricing page states this as “valid for 6 months.”
- If you have an active subscription when you buy a pack, you receive +20% extra credits at the same pack price. The bonus is part of that grant and expires with it.
- If you are not subscribed, you receive the base pack amount only. Starting or ending a subscription later does not retroactively add or remove a bonus on a pack you already bought.
- Pack credits are used after shorter-lived subscription credits in the normal consumption order (credits that expire sooner are used first).
Packs are digital AI credits. Once credits have been granted, they are generally non-refundable except as described below.
4. How credits work (not a cash wallet)
Credits are a license to run generation jobs. They are not cash, are not transferable between accounts, and expire as described above.
- A job that fails or is canceled before a successful provider result typically returns the credits charged for that job. That is a credit adjustment, not a card refund.
- A job that succeeds consumes credits. Dissatisfaction with creative quality, style, likeness, or “I would have written a different prompt” is not a ground for a cash refund or a credit return.
- Unused subscription credits generally expire at period end and are not paid out as cash.
- Expired pack credits are not restored and are not refunded.
5. When we refund money
Because the Service delivers digital, immediately usable AI credits, all sales are generally final.
We will refund a payment in these cases:
- Duplicate or obvious billing error — you were charged twice for the same order, or charged an amount that does not match the catalog price you were shown.
- Unused credit pack (limited) — you request a refund within 14 days of the pack purchase and none of that pack’s granted credits (base or bonus) have been consumed. We may refuse if the grant was already partly used or if we reasonably suspect abuse.
- Unused first subscription period (limited) — you cancel and request a refund within 14 days of the first charge for that subscription and you have not consumed any credits granted for that period. This does not apply to later renewal periods, and it does not create a prorated refund after you have generated with those credits.
- Legal requirement — a law or card-network rule requires a refund, or a payment processor reverses the charge.
- Service never delivered — payment succeeded but credits were never granted and we cannot fulfill the order after a reasonable investigation.
We generally do not refund:
- unused time on a subscription after you have used the Service in that period;
- unused credits that simply expired;
- successful generations you dislike;
- packs or plans bought by mistake after credits were used;
- chargebacks you file instead of emailing support (see Section 7).
Goodwill exceptions are discretionary. An exception for one customer is not a waiver for others.
Where EU/UK or other consumer law gives you a withdrawal right for digital content, that right may end once performance begins with your prior consent (for example, once credits are granted and used). This Policy is intended to sit alongside those rules, not to take away non-waivable rights.
6. How to request a refund
Email support@aimakevideo.com from the email on your account. Include:
- the order or subscription reference if you have it;
- the approximate date and amount;
- whether the purchase was a pack or a plan;
- why you believe a refund applies under Section 5.
We aim to reply within a few business days. Approved card refunds are sent to the original payment method and can take several days to appear, depending on the processor and your bank.
7. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If something looks wrong, contact support@aimakevideo.com before filing a chargeback. Most billing issues can be corrected faster that way.
Filing a chargeback while we are able to help, or filing one for a delivered digital credit grant, may be treated as a payment dispute. We may suspend the account, withhold remaining credits, and contest the chargeback with evidence of delivery. You remain responsible for any fees the processor assesses if the dispute is decided against you.
We may refuse future checkouts to accounts with a history of abusive disputes.
8. Taxes
Prices may be exclusive of VAT, sales tax, or similar. The payment processor may calculate and collect tax at checkout based on your location. You are responsible for any tax not collected that applies to your purchase.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy by posting a new version. The version in effect when you complete a checkout applies to that purchase, except where a later change is required by law or is more favorable to you.
