Six empty places made for this shot, all seen from a phone on the floor, from the trend's dark studio to a neon street.
Or upload your own photo of an empty place. Results vary with the photo: a shot taken low, with the floor running back from the bottom of the frame, works best.

The Single Ladies dog dance is an AI video format: a pet takes the middle spot of a three-dancer routine set to Beyoncé's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", while two backup dancers do the sassy hip pops and hair flips behind it. The pet stays on all fours and dances with its head, dipping, tilting and tossing it on the beat. It is also searched as the "Put a Ring on It dog" or "single lady dog AI" trend.
The joke is the formation: one lead in front and two dancers behind, the same set-up as the song's famous music video, with a pet in the lead who barely moves anything but its head. Some people put themselves in the middle instead. This page makes both, your pet or you dancing the lead, in one unbroken floor-level shot.
The song came out in October 2008 on Beyoncé's album I Am... Sasha Fierce. Its black-and-white music video, directed by Jake Nava, shows Beyoncé and two backup dancers in a bare studio. The choreography, by Frank Gatson Jr. and JaQuel Knight, draws on Bob Fosse's 1969 routine "Mexican Breakfast", in which Gwen Verdon danced in front of two women. Fans' remakes of the dance soon became a meme of their own.
The pet version is much newer. In autumn 2026, AI videos began putting a dog in the lead dancer's spot while two dancers kept the routine going behind it, and AI video sites started offering it as a template. It is not clear who posted the first one.

The timing of the pet version this page makes. In the person version you dance the same counts with the two dancers.
| 0–1 s | The dancers whip their hair up; your pet lifts its head |
|---|---|
| 1–4 s | Your pet sits facing the lens while the dancers pop their hips, a hand on the hip |
| 4–6 s | Head tilts and tosses from side to side |
| 6–10 s | A head throw back to the lens, then a big toss and shake as the dancers flip their hair |
| 10–12 s | Arms overhead behind; your pet faces the lens with small head tilts |
| 12–15 s | A last head shake, then your pet settles and looks straight into the lens |
For a pet: one animal, sharp and evenly lit, with the face, ears, legs and coat in view, ideally taken at its eye level. Its breed, markings, coat length and ears are kept as the photo shows them, so a clear photo matters most. Avoid group photos, heavy filters and photos where the pet is half hidden.
For yourself: one adult, facing the camera, with the whole face sharp and uncovered. For Your own clothes, show the outfit from the waist up or full body; anything the photo does not show is continued in the same style.

Questions
It is a 15-second vertical video in which your pet takes the middle spot of the Single Ladies routine, grooving its head on the beat while two backup dancers dance behind it, filmed from a phone on the floor. You can also put yourself in the middle. This page makes one from a single photo for 800 credits.
Add a photo, check whether it shows your pet or you, pick a place and the sound, then press Generate. We put your pet or you into our own floor-level shot of the routine: the look comes from your photo; the moves, the timing and the camera come from the shot. It usually takes a few minutes.

Frank Gatson Jr. and JaQuel Knight choreographed the 2008 music video, drawing on Bob Fosse's 1969 routine "Mexican Breakfast". This page is not connected with them, with Beyoncé or with the creators of the pet clips.
No. The pet versions of the trend are AI videos, and so is yours: the AI keeps your pet's look from the photo and moves its head to the beat. No real animal is made to dance.
Yes. The generator takes any single pet photo and keeps its species, breed, coat and ears. Dogs are the most common in the trend and are what we tested; with cats and other animals, results can vary more.

One pet or one adult, sharp and evenly lit, with the face clearly visible. For a pet, show the ears, legs and coat; for yourself, face the camera and avoid sunglasses, masks and heavy filters. No group photos.
Yes. Upright ears stay upright, floppy ears stay floppy, and the coat length, colours and markings stay as in your photo. The routine only moves the head: dips, tilts, tosses and shakes.
No. The video shows your pet or you with two AI-made backup dancers, and no footage of Beyoncé or the music video is used. With the trend's sound on, the trend's track plays under it.

Yes. By default the trend's track runs under the whole video, timed to the moves. Choose Silent if you want to add your own music when you post.
Usually a few minutes; you can close the tab, and the finished video waits in My videos. A failed render returns the credits straight to your balance. If a finished video is clearly broken, write to support and we will look at it.
