From one photo to 2027
One render per video, each from one photo of an AI-generated person.
All three examples use AI-generated photos: the people are not real.
Three New Year videos from one photo
Each is 10 seconds, 9:16 and 720p, made from your photo: no filming, no green screen.
Stand on a giant 2027
You climb onto the 0 of white marble 2027 letters, stand up and open your arms while a drone shot pulls back over the clouds. The year is set in the first frame and the video keeps it, so the letters stay 2027 as the camera moves.
Count down to midnight
On a rooftop, a harbour, a square, a chalet deck or a beach, you count down, the first fireworks burst, and you cheer, raise a glass and blow a kiss. The track counts down with three beeps and a boom.
Send Lunar New Year wishes
For the Year of the Goat: the fist-and-palm greeting, a plain red envelope held out to the camera and fireworks over the lanterns, with no writing anywhere in the picture.
Make it together
Add a second photo for a partner, a friend or family: you both climb the letters, clink glasses or bow together, and each person keeps their own face.

Why giant-year videos are everywhere
Every December, short-video apps fill up with year-change templates, and the biggest one now is the giant year: a person on top of huge 2027 letters on a mountain, with the camera pulling back to show the whole scene. It is quick to read, works with any photo and says "new year" without a word.
This generator makes three New Year formats: Hello 2027, a midnight countdown with fireworks and a Lunar New Year greeting, so you can post one on 31 December and another for Lunar New Year.
Where these New Year traditions come from
Counting down the last seconds of the year and setting off fireworks at midnight is now a worldwide habit. In much of the English-speaking world it ends with friends linking arms to sing an old Scots song that Robert Burns sent to a song collection in 1788. The giant-year AI template is much younger: "goodbye 2025, hello 2026" versions spread at the end of 2025, and "Hello 2027" ones started trending in late October 2026.
Lunar New Year follows the moon, so its date moves every year: in 2027 it falls on Saturday 6 February and starts the Year of the Goat. Families get together, younger relatives receive red envelopes with money, red lanterns go up, and fireworks and firecrackers see off the old year.
Timeline
1788Robert Burns sends an old Scots song about remembering old friends to a song collection; it becomes the song of Hogmanay, the Scottish New Year's Eve.
Every 31 DecemberAt midnight people count down the last seconds, fireworks go up, and in many English-speaking countries friends link arms and sing Burns's song.
Late 2025AI "goodbye 2025, hello 2026" templates with giant year numbers spread on short-video apps.
Late October 2026"Hello 2027" templates, with a person climbing huge 2027 letters above the clouds, start trending two months early.
6 February 2027Lunar New Year's Day: the Year of the Goat begins, and the celebrations run to the Lantern Festival two weeks later.
Lunar New Year's Day 2027 is Saturday 6 February, and the Year of the Goat begins (some traditions call it the Year of the Sheep). The celebrations last about two weeks, until the Lantern Festival on 20 February 2027.
In the Lunar New Year video you greet the camera with the fist-and-palm salute, a gesture of respect and good wishes, then hold out a plain red envelope as fireworks go up over the lanterns. All writing is kept out of the picture, so no characters come out garbled.

Which photos work best
Use a recent, clear photo of one adult per slot: facing the camera, in good light, ideally waist-up. Sunglasses, hats that hide the hair and heavy filters make the face harder to keep.
The site accepts photos of adults only. For two people, upload two photos with one person each: the first stands on the left (in Hello 2027, on the 0) and the second on the right.

Questions
AI New Year Video FAQ
What is the Hello 2027 AI trend?
A short video where a person climbs onto huge 2027 letters on a mountain top while the camera pulls back to show the whole scene. It spread as an AI effect on short-video apps for the end of 2026; here you make it from one photo, along with a midnight countdown and a Lunar New Year video.
Will the year on the letters be right?
Yes. The 2027 letters are drawn into the first frame before the video is made, and the video only has to keep them while the camera moves. The countdown balloons work the same way.
Can I make it with my partner or a friend?
Yes. Add a second photo, one person per photo. In Hello 2027 you climb the 0 and they climb the next 2; in the countdown you clink glasses and hug; for Lunar New Year you bow together.
When is Lunar New Year 2027?
Saturday 6 February 2027, the start of the Year of the Goat. Pick the Lunar New Year video to send your wishes.
Does the video have music?
Yes, unless you pick silent. Each video has its own track, made for this page. The countdown track is a new arrangement of Auld Lang Syne, a traditional Scottish melody in the public domain; the Lunar New Year track uses drums, gong, firecrackers and an original melody.
Can I upload photos of my kids?
No. The site accepts photos of adults only.
How early should I make my New Year's Eve video?
A video takes a few minutes, and can take longer on busy nights such as 31 December. Make it during the day on 31 December or earlier, so it is ready to post at midnight.
Is it real footage?
No. Everything is AI-generated from your photo: the place, the fireworks and the movement. Use it for fun and greetings, and don't present it as real.
What photo should I use?
A clear, recent photo of one adult, facing the camera, ideally waist-up. One person per photo; add a second photo for a second person.
How much does it cost?
600 credits for a 10-second video, whichever template, place and outfit you pick. The $9.90 pack covers one video, larger packs cost less per video, and a failed render is returned to your balance.
Can I post it on TikTok, Reels or Shorts?
Yes. The video is 9:16 and 720p, with no watermark. Post it as your own New Year greeting, never to pass yourself off as someone else.
